About the IAPP

Chris Massey is the Director of Global Privacy Operations for Takeda Pharmaceuticals Joining Takeda in 2016. Prior to that Chris was with Royal Philips in two Data Privacy Officer roles, as a Global Privacy Officer at Philips Healthcare and as Privacy Officer supporting the Philips North American Human Resources and shared services groups. In all positions Chris has assisted in the design and building of a privacy program/function, in some cases from the ground up. Chris started his career outside of privacy, in the corporate investigations and security field.

Chris received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from New England College in Henniker New Hampshire, and his M.A. in Physical Security Management from The American Military University.

Chris is a Fellow of Information Privacy and holds three certifications (Certified information Privacy Professional -Europe, Certified information Privacy Professional US, and Certified information Privacy Manager) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Chris resides in Windham New Hampshire, with his family.
