About the IAPP

Mariana Evram is a seasoned privacy professional with a background in law and a passion for technology, Privacy-by-Design, and AI regulation. With extensive experience in privacy laws and privacy engineering, she possesses expertise across various aspects of privacy, ranging from operational implementation to strategic advisory roles.

Currently, Mariana serves as a Senior Privacy Specialist at Rabobank, where she focuses on the operationalization of Privacy-by-Design principles. In this role, she ensures that privacy considerations are integrated into the bank's day-to-day operations, enhancing compliance and safeguarding customers trust in the responsible use of personal data.

Mariana holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She obtained her LL.M. in Law & Technology from Tilburg University, with a specialization in Privacy and Data Protection.
