About the IAPP

Richard (Ric) Flaggert is a globally qualified (US (NY, CA, MA), England & Wales, Ireland, Canada)) attorney, solicitor, and barrister currently serving as Head of Privacy at Incode Technologies, a leading global provider of identity verification and biometric authentication solutions. 

Ric previously served in various roles worldwide, including at DLA Piper (Partner, Solicitor) in Boston, Los Angeles, and London. He currently serves on the Adjunct Faculty at his alma mater, Northeastern University School of Law, teaching courses on both Information and Data Privacy Law.

A Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Ric holds AIGP, CIPP/E/US/C, CIPM, and CIPT. Certifications,, and is an MCs Candidate (AI/ML/Quantum Computing). A proud dual citizen (American, Canadian), Ric lives with his family in Boston, MA, where enjoys fly fishing and riding (horses, not bikes) with his wife and daughters.
