About the IAPP

Julie Armindo Kremp, is an International legal counsel with more than 16 years of experience, originally from Brazil, and moved to Germany in 2019. I decided to pursue a career dedicated to Data Privacy after overseeing many topics other than privacy. I advised businesses on legal and compliance risks and recommended appropriate courses of action across a wide range of topics and jurisdictions. I have considerable experience in the e-commerce, Adtech, Marketing, Education, and Healthcare sectors.

For the past five years, I've been dealing with global privacy regulations and data protection, with a particular emphasis on GDPR. I recently joined Remerge GmbH in Berlin as a Privacy and Data Protection Specialist, where I ensure privacy compliance by proposing and developing new Privacy Operations solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders to automate and establish new processes. In a data-driven world where privacy and security are top priorities for all businesses, I believe that trust is the new currency, and that privacy professionals are responsible for making this a reality not only through words, but also through actions.
