Angela M. Noguera, CIPP/E

Consultant – Vanegas Morales Consultores

Angela M. Noguera is a privacy consultant at Vanegas Morales Consultores (VMC) – a Colombian boutique law firm specialized in privacy matters. She has over 8 years’ experience in privacy and data protection, and she advises companies in diverse matters ranging from their day-to-day challenges to the advice in projects that are intensive in the use of personal data, provides training sessions to clients, advises companies in the handling of data breaches and reports to the Colombian DPA. She is currently based in Paris and works remotely.

In her role as consultant for VMC, Angela has been ranked as “up and coming” in the Chambers Colombia ranking in TMT for two years in a row, and she is an active member of PrivacyRules, an association of privacy and tech professionals in more than 50 jurisdictions around the world.

Angela is also co-founder of ADAPRI – Colombian Association of Data and Privacy ­– and member of the Board of Directors since 2020.

Angela holds an LLM (cum laude) degree from Tilburg University (The Netherlands) and undergraduate degrees in Law and in Economics from Los Andes University (Colombia).

Previously, she worked for more than 10 years in antitrust, merger control and infrastructure projects both in Colombian law firms and in Governmental entities.

Angela is passionate for learning new skills and for sharing her experience with others.
