Petruta Pirvan has been long acting as an in-house counsel for top multinational companies such as Oracle and Accenture and led the Global Data Privacy Compliance Program in A.P. Moller-Maersk, the biggest shipping company of the world, by setting up the group data protection governance.
Currently, Petruta Pirvan serves as a Principal Counsel on Data Protection and AI Governance with Symmetry Compliance, a Dublin established consultancy in data protection and matters of AI.
Entrepreneurial spirit, Petruta Pirvan manages in parallel her own startup and collaborates with likeminded professionals around the world.
Petruta Pirvan is the author of Module 8 "Ongoing Issues and Concerns" of the IAPP AIGP Participant Training Guide and a Faculty Member with IAPP.
