Natalie Farmer, AIGP, CIPP/E
Natalie is Director within Fieldfisher's Silicon Valley Tech and Data practice. Natalie works predominantly with US and UK based clients that are navigating European privacy and tech regulations. She has particular experience advising clients on the development and implementation of disruptive technologies, including technologies leveraging AI/machine learning. Her work within the AI space has included advising clients on AI governance, automated decision making, machine learning rights requirements, AI due diligence and impact assessments, and complex data subject rights matters. Natalie also has a wealth of experience counseling clients in connection with complex technology transactions, international data transfers, GDPR compliance projects, and high risk data processing.
Natalie trained at Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton LLP before joining Fieldfisher in 2021 as a Director. Natalie is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe (CIPP/E)) [and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP)]. She is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales and registered foreign legal consultant (FLC) with the Californian Bar.
