About the IAPP

David is a technology lawyer with more than 25 years of professional experience in the legal sector specializing in technology, data, privacy and information security. David is currently the Head of IT Legal APAC for DHL Group, the largest logistics multinational company in the world with over 550,000 employees worldwide. His core expertise includes (i) legal strategy & advice, (ii) contracts, and (iii) governance, risks management & compliance (GRC). He has an LLB from Australia, LLM (IT & Telecoms) from UK, CDip(AF) from ACCA and is qualified to practice law in Australia and Malaysia. His certifications include CIPP/E, CIPM, Practitioner Certificate in Personal Data Protection Singapore and EXIN Certified Information Security Foundation ISO/IEC 27001.
