About the IAPP

Amy Quackenbush (CIPP/C, MI) is a Privacy & Information Governance Consultant with Mara Consulting, with over seven years experience in the information and data privacy space. Prior to her current role she was an Information Governance Specialist with one of the world’s leading global law firms, advising clients across industries on global information governance compliance. In addition to privacy, she has a background in records and information management, knowledge management, and user experience design. Amy is experienced in the areas of data privacy and localization, records and data retention, data minimization, cross-border transfer, media/​format compliance, risk mitigation and digital transformation. She also has significant experience in legislative review and analysis, allowing her to provide clients with practicable, holistic advice balancing legal requirements, best practices and organizational needs.
