About the IAPP

Tiago Neves Furtado is a lawyer, professor, and speaker with expertise in digital law. He leads the Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence Team and the Incident Response Team at Opice Blum Advogados, a leading firm in technology law.

An IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Tiago also holds CIPP/E, CIPM, and CDP-BR certifications.

With experience in data protection management, Tiago has contributed to the development of strategies for privacy governance and compliance across various sectors. He has also supported crisis committees and incident response initiatives, helping to address data breach scenarios effectively and efficiently.
