About the IAPP

Jialiang Zhang is a Director of Privacy Engineering at Mastercard. He is a cybersecurity and privacy professional with over ten years of experience in both consulting and in-house roles. Benefiting from his diverse professional experience and interdisciplinary education background, Jialiang is experienced in transposing regulatory requirements to IT and Cyber architecture design.

Jialiang earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and was certified as a CCIE. He also holds an MBA degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, an LLM degree from Queen’s University Belfast, and a MAcc degree from University of Cambridge. Jialiang is certified as Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and recognised as IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP).
