Bram Hoovers, CIPP/E
Bram Hoovers is Privacy Officer at Philips. In his role, he provides day-to-day privacy support to various businesses at global level. Within Philips, he provides privacy counsel and advice on global data protection compliance. Since Philips combined its healthcare and consumer business, Bram has developed a strong focus on Internet of Things and mobile health. During the last few years, Bram has (co)developed various processes and guidelines to implement privacy by design throughout many Philips businesses. He has also contributed to the Draft EU Code of Conduct on privacy for mobile health applications.
Before Bram joined Philips he held legal positions at Henry Schein Inc., Pfizer, Merck, Brunel and IBM.
Bram has a legal background and holds a law degree at the University of Utrecht and at the University of Maastricht.
