About the IAPP

Elisabetta Tiani is a born and raised Italian lawyer and Ph.D. who moved to the United States in early 2021. She is a registered In-House Counsel in the State of New York and has over 10 years of experience in privacy consulting. She is a US and EU Certified Privacy Professional with the ability to build and manage privacy and information security programs globally.

She has extensive experience in identifying regulatory and privacy requirements, implementing data protection controls and safeguards to enable compliance and mitigate data protection risks, advising on AI governance, and conducting privacy risk assessments.

Elisabetta is currently working as a Data Protection Counsel at Axonius.
