About the IAPP

I am passionate about creating an environment where privacy does not prevent or limit innovation and where there is greater trust between companies and consumers. My background in business process improvement and agile project management has led me to my current path in data privacy. Part of my approach involves simplifying the complexity of data privacy for businesses of all sizes and industries and helping to create privacy awareness to individuals. Implementing my skills of forging alliances with stakeholders across various business units and enhancing compliance and trust have enabled me to excel in educating the average consumer on their privacy rights and helping clients navigate the ever-changing privacy landscape.

My approach to compliance is centered on continuous, incremental improvements with value placed on people, processes, and technology. My professional certifications include, Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional in the laws of the US Private Sector (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional in the laws of the EU Private Sector (CIPP/E) and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP). I have also been recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP).
