Christopher Chew, CISSP, CCSK, PCIP, CIPP/A, CIPM, FIP, MSCS

Chris has over two decades of experience in information security, data privacy, and digital transformation; leading the business, design & delivery of innovative and effective solutions for complex and diverse challenges in various industries.

He has held various business and technical leadership roles in Advertising & Media/Communications, Contact Centre/Collaboration Technologies, Digital Identity, Strategy Management/Advisory Services, Information Security, as well as GRC areas in regulated industries such as telecommunications, cloud & financial services.

As Technical Leader at Cisco, he collaborates with global customers, teams and partners to provide strategic guidance, technical advice, and thought leadership in Mobile Communications, Cloud, Enterprise Security Architectures, Managed Services, and Digital Trust.

Chris is a Fellow of Information Privacy and a member of the Asia and Privacy Engineering Section Advisory Boards of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), where he contributes to the development and promotion of privacy engineering and technologies.

He is also a member of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), a certified PCI Professional with the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), a Member of the Open Worldwide Application Security Project® Foundation (OWASP), a Member of the Internet Society, a Corporate Member with Messaging Malware Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) and the Future of Privacy Forum, as well as being a Professional Member of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS).

Chris is passionate about advancing the privacy and information security profession in empowering organizations and individuals to protect their data and assets in the information economy.
