About the IAPP

Kimmy de Joode brings 18 years of expertise in supply chain management, business transformation, cognitive transformation, data privacy, and AI technical services. Joining IBM's Office of Privacy and Responsible Technology in 2019, she has been instrumental in translating regulatory requirements into technical requirements for IBM's Integrated Governance Programme. Kimmy’s role involves close collaboration with internal and external legal counsel, key business stakeholders, and development teams to navigate the dynamic regulatory landscape for privacy, data, and AI. She focuses on rapidly enabling various governance programs, ensuring maximum compliance, swift execution, and a seamless user experience, while leveraging data insights via integrated dashboards within IBM’s technology platforms.
