About the IAPP

Marijana Nikolic is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in IT compliance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI governance. With over nine years of experience managing complex programs and leading diverse teams, she has successfully driven digital transformation initiatives in global organizations. 

Currently, Marijana serves as IT Portfolio Manager at Robert Bosch Power Tools Switzerland. Her role includes spearheading digital governance processes, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve strategic business objectives. 

Previously, Marijana excelled as Capability Owner for Digital Compliance & Governance at Bosch Power Tools in Germany. She led a global team to establish a unified Digital Compliance lifecycle process, integrating international privacy laws and cybersecurity standards. This initiative not only reduced compliance risks but also enhanced efficiency through automation and streamlined processes. Her expertise extends to ensuring end-to-end compliance and fostering cross-functional collaboration in matrix environments.

She holds a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certifications, which demonstrate both her knowledge and experience.  

Fluent in English, German, and Serbian, Marijana is a proactive communicator and problem-solver, passionate about bridging the gap between innovation and regulatory requirements. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and cultural activities, reflecting her well-rounded and global perspective.
