About the IAPP

Susan Paulson, MBA, CIPP/US, works for Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI), where she is Vice President of Governance, Risk & Compliance. Susan joined CAI in January 2024, after 28 years with Allstate Insurance Company, where she was a business and technology program director, leading and implementing transformational and complex business and technology programs, including the company's privacy program. Susan established CAI's governance, risk and compliance practice, building its enterprise Risk Management program from the ground up. She received her MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She is a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner, an experienced Agile SAFe® Product Owner-Product Manager and DevOps Practitioner, and has earned her International Association of Privacy Professionals Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) certification. Susan's work passion is change management, and her approach to her professional endeavors leverages her experience driving transformational change.
