Lorraine Krugel, CIPP/C

Lorraine leads and manages the Canadian Bankers Association’s (CBA’s) policy development and advocacy relating to public policy issues in the areas of privacy and data, working closely with member banks’ privacy and legal teams. This includes providing subject matter expertise on emerging provincial, national and international trends in privacy and data as they relate to banking in Canada, including technological / societal trends and digital transformation of the banking industry (e.g., AI, Consumer-Driven Banking, Digital Identification). In addition, Lorraine works with financial crimes and AML CBA groups on privacy-related matters, particularly relating to private-to-private information sharing.
