Costanza Pollini, CIPP/E
Costanza Pollini (CIPP/E) is the Privacy Legal Expert within the Data Privacy Office at CERN. In this capacity, her primary responsibility is to provide expert guidance on the implementation of CERN's internal data protection framework. Prior to joining CERN, she held the position of Partner Lawyer at a specialized boutique law firm that focused on data protection. Additionally, she worked as an external Data Protection Officer for public and private entities, network companies and health institutes.
She is a member of the Research Center Privacy and New Technologies (CSPNT) and a founding member of the Intergovernmental Organizations Privacy Assembly (IGOPA). She is a lecturer and trainer on the subject of data protection and she is co-author of books on the role of the Data Protection Officer. She graduated with honors in Law from Bologna University in 2016 and holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Law from King's College London.
