About the IAPP

Kalyani is a part of the Government Affairs and public policy team at Google, leading the work on supporting Google’s ads business in Asia-Pacific region based out of Singapore. She has extensive legal and policy experience. Prior to Google, Kalyani worked at Meta Platforms where she led competition and economic policy for India. Kalyani is also an experienced competition lawyer, having worked at leading law firms in India and Belgium. In these roles, she represented numerous multinational corporations. She also served as a non-government adviser appointed by the Indian competition regulator to the International Competition Network. Kalyani holds an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center and an LL.B. from the University of Delhi. She has authored numerous publications on law and policy.
