About the IAPP

Shavaniese is the Manager of Governance Risk & Compliance at PLMC. She has a passion for operationalizing privacy in organizations through her expertise from leading the implementation of several data protection implementation programmes and conducting numerous data protection training sessions. Shavaniese works with both private and public sector companies. She is also an Attorney-at-Law at the Jamaican Bar and a Certified Information Privacy Manager. She specializes in corporate governance, anti-money laundering compliance and data protection.
