About the IAPP

Arundati Dandapani, CAIP, CIPP/C, CIPM, a multiple award-winning storyteller and data leader, is the Founder and CEO of Generation1.ca, a media platform and community that empowers and innovates with immigrant inclusion across North America. Arundati creates and teaches a selection of online, in-person, and hybrid courses in data, analytics, insights and business to over 300 students at the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Toronto, Canada every semester. Recognized among the world's top 75 data and insights legends, Arundati was inducted into the ESOMAR and Insight250 Congress Hall of Fame in 2023 with a star raised in her name. Her three decades of work have spanned leading diverse international brands in various data and insight-led entrepreneurial roles across global higher education, news media, public affairs, data journalism, real estate, scuba diving, tech and publishing, with Arundati also appointed to strategic data leadership roles across our industry’s various associations and boards in Canada, USA and globally. She is the author of two books, the editor and contributor of several trade publications and more forthcoming, and a seasoned data and non-profit association leader who presents her work and thought leadership widely and frequently.
