About the IAPP

Vinny DiGilio (he/him) is currently a Privacy Compliance Manager at Grindr, where he builds, operates and manages numerous components of Grindr’s global privacy program, including privacy policies and procedures, data protection/privacy impact assessments, cookie and consent management, vendor management, data subject requests and inquiries, and monitoring for emerging privacy laws. He has so much pride in being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and loves being part of a mission-driven company dedicated to protecting this community’s privacy and to facilitating queer connections around the world. 

Previously, Vinny was a security and privacy consultant for 5 years at both EY and DLA Piper, where he focused on building and assessing security and privacy programs to align with industry standards (e.g., NIST) and to pursue compliance with privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR and CCPA). He holds the CIPM, CISSP, and Security+ certifications and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University (majored in Computer Information Systems).
