About the IAPP

Mark Milone is Senior Principal for Responsible AI in Slalom's Global Business Advisory Services group. Mark often advises on matters relating to AI governance, cyber security and privacy compliance (#CIPP/US, #CIPP/E). Before Slalom, he spent over a decade as the primary legal resource to a Fortune 100 Aerospace Company's Chief Information Officer and its Chief Privacy Officer. He also established the company's first data strategy office where he led operational data teams to accelerate the company's digital transformation. These two areas of practice provide him with a unique, holistic viewpoint regarding emerging technology and data-driven organizations. He enjoys writing about the intersection of technology, law and public policy and wrote the first comprehensive book on cyber law titled Information Security Law: Control of Digital Assets (Law Journal Press, 2006).
