Johnathan Rudy is a corporate counsel in financial services who focuses on cybersecurity and data protection. Before becoming a corporate counsel, he spent ten years as an active-duty Marine Corps Judge Advocate and continues to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve as the Reserve Staff Judge Advocate (General Counsel) for Marine Corps Information Command, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, and Marine Corps Forces Space Command. 



While on Active duty, he held numerous positions, including Chief of Cyber Operations Law, Adjunct Professor of Law at the United States Naval Academy, Assistant Prosecutor with the Military Commissions in Guantanamo Bay, Criminal Defense Counsel, Military Police Company Commander, and Legal Assistance attorney.



He earned a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, an LL.M. in Intelligence and Cyber Law from The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, and a B.A. in Political Science from Baldwin Wallace College.
