About the IAPP

Piotr Łada is an attorney-at-law in the Commercial team at the Polish office of Eversheds Sutherland.

Piotr specializes in data protection and privacy law, new technologies, cyber security, IT and e-privacy. He has more than 11 years of experience in legal consulting for business, including supporting clients with projects related to the implementation of new technologies and IT solutions. He has conducted more than 100 trainings on copyright, software, e-privacy and personal data for entities in various sectors.

Piotr is a member of IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) with CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe), CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager), CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist) and FIP (Fellow of Information Privacy) certifications. Piotr is a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) by the European Center on Privacy and Cybersecurity (ECPC-B) and is currently pursuing an LL.M. at Maastricht University - "Advanced Master in Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Management." He is also a member of the Association of Data Protection Practitioners and the Data Protection Section of the District Bar Council in Warsaw.
