About the IAPP

Joris Willems is the head of the Technology Group of NautaDutilh. His focus is on AI, technology, data and cyber. He has a pragmatic approach and strong business sense which make him an often sought-after board room advisor and trusted business advisor for (multinational) technology companies and financial institutions. Joris often speaks on these topics and regularly publishes articles and blogs. He has worked in Hong Kong, Shanghai and London, interacted with many different (business) cultures and quickly adapts to new cultures and their specific way of doing business. Moreover, Joris is the Chair of the Dutch Association of AI and Robotics Law (NVAIR) and a Board Member of the Dutch Media and Communications Law Association (VMC). He has also served for eight years on the global board of an global business law firm.
