About the IAPP

Sarah Hasan is currently a Privacy Manager at Deloitte Global, where she helps the firm protect against privacy risks on a global scale. Sarah has spent 5 subsequent years helping large tech companies like Shopify and OpenText scale and mature their respective privacy programs. Her specialty is operationalizing the law in a way that makes sense to legal, technical, and business-minded individuals alike. 

Sarah holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, where she has since completed a year-long certificate program in privacy management. She is currently studying to obtain her CIPM and PMP designations. In her spare time, Sarah volunteers with the Toronto ISACA chapter and is also a Young Privacy Professional with the IAPP Toronto Chapter.
