Michelle Gordon

Michelle Gordon is a privacy lawyer and consultant and the Principal of GEM Privacy Consulting. She has over 15 years of privacy experience and works with clients in the education, health care and technology sectors. Michelle has a passion for children’s privacy and for finding practical solutions that balance a complex legislative environment with the digital age. She recently appeared before the House of Commons committee to advocate for stronger protections for children's privacy in Bill C-27.
Michelle is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and received her Master of Laws from the University of Toronto with a focus on privacy and health law. As a dedicated community volunteer, Michelle sits on the Board of Directors of a private school in Toronto, where she is currently Secretary of the Board and an active member of the Governance and Strategy Committees.
