Tyler Bridegan, CIPP/E
Tyler (IAPP/E) currently serves as the Director of Privacy & Tech Enforcement for the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where he oversees the implementation and enforcement of Texas’ slate of privacy and technology-related laws, including Texas’ comprehensive privacy law, data broker law, biometric law, genetic testing law, and cyber breach law. Tyler also oversees investigations into a variety of companies, practices, and technologies pursuant to Texas’ laws and federal consumer protection laws that grant states enforcement authority, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Restoring of Consumers Act (ROSCA), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Tyler is a member of the IAPP Privacy Bar Section Advisory Board.
