Fontaine R. Chambers, Esq., is a distinguished privacy professional celebrated for her academic achievements, leadership, and dedication to service. A first-generation college graduate and lawyer, she earned her J.D. cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Connecticut.
Currently, Fontaine serves as the Data Privacy Manager, Americas, at RX Global, overseeing privacy and data protection strategies across the United States, Brazil, and Mexico. She leads privacy assessments, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with complex global regulations, working closely with senior leadership to uphold enterprise-wide privacy standards.
Fontaine’s prior roles include Legal Privacy Intern at T-Mobile, where she contributed to AI research and policy drafting, and Compliance and Privacy Intern at Hartford HealthCare, supporting privacy risk assessments and compliance efforts.
Her leadership is evident through her service as President of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at Quinnipiac and as the 56th Regional Chair of NEBLSA. At NEBLSA, she increased membership by 59%, boosted sponsorship by 75%, and led the region to win Region of the Year.
Beyond her profession, Fontaine is committed to community advocacy, serving on the Greater New Haven NAACP board. An avid traveler who has visited 24 countries, she also studied abroad in London, where she engaged in human rights advocacy.
