About the IAPP

Nancy Volesky is a privacy consultant in Bermuda.

She is the former director of e-commerce for the Bermuda government and has almost 20 years of experience in the ICT/cybersecurity and privacy sector. She was responsible for leading the team that developed Bermuda's privacy legislation, the Personal Information Protection Act, 2016.

Going from theory to practice, Volesky now advises local and international clients of all shapes and sizes on privacy programs and practical implementation. She was a contributor and the main editor of Bermuda's only book on the PIPA, "The PIPA, A Practical Guide to the Personal Information Protection Act 2016," sponsored by Gateway. She is also a co-founder and co-chair of Bermuda's IAPP Knowledge-Net Chapter.
