About the IAPP

Aaron Mendelsohn is currently the Director - Privacy Officer at the LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, where he oversees data protection compliance within our Digital Technologies teams, including LEGO.com, LEGO Insiders, and LEGO Retail.

Prior to joining the LEGO Group, Aaron had a series of leadership roles related to data protection, privacy and information security, including creating and managing the global data protection and privacy program at two Fortune 500 companies.   From 2018-2022 Aaron created and taught a class called Privacy Law & Management at the Cleveland State University School of Law that focused on how to operationalize privacy in a corporate environment. Many of his past students are now successful privacy professionals in the Cleveland corporate community. 

Aaron is based in Aarhus, Denmark, where he relocated with his family in July 2022 from Cleveland, Ohio for his role at the LEGO Group.
