About the IAPP

Orla O'Hannaidh, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP, Director, Legal, Global Privacy, Security and AI Governance, Red Hat.

Orla O'Hannaidh co-leads Red Hat's Global Privacy, Security & AI Governance Program. Prior to joining Red Hat, Orla worked at an international law firm advising companies on privacy, marketing, security and technology laws. Orla holds a J.D. and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in International Relations from Dublin City University. Since 2019, Orla has taught EU data protection law at UNC Chapel Hill Law School.
