About the IAPP

Fara Faubus is the Assistant General Counsel, Global Privacy for Nu Skin Enterprises, a global beauty and wellness company. She leads the company’s legal work for global privacy, data use, emerging technologies and cyber security matters across nearly 50 different countries.

With more than 20 years of experience in privacy law, Fara previously served as Chief Privacy Officer,

Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel for Privacy, Compliance and Ethics at FIS, a leading global fintech company. In those roles, she and her team developed and implemented the global privacy program and related compliance management systems. 

A graduate of the George Washington University National Law Center, Fara holds CIPP/US and CIPP/M

certifications and was a member of the inaugural group obtaining the Privacy Law Specialist designation. 

A self-professed gadget girl, Fara is passionate about the intersection of privacy and new technologies and how both can be used to better lives.
