About the IAPP

I co-head the Fieldfisher Technology, Outsourcing & Privacy department in Brussels.

 

I assist companies, especially in the TMT, Life Sciences and Financial Services sectors, to put in place global privacy compliance programs enabling them to comply with the GDPR and other data protection laws in a pragmatic manner.  

 

Additionally, I help companies preparing for and dealing with data breaches. My assistance covers both the implementation of data security incident response plans and dealing with the fall-out and notification obligations of data breaches. Where needed, I can also leverage my experience as a litigator to defend clients before a DPA or in court. 

 

Due to my extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex system integration and outsourcing agreements, I'm also very well placed to deal with data processing agreements.

 

I am a member of the IAPP European Advisory Board and of its Teaching Faculty. 

 

I regularly speak at high-profile data protection conferences and I am the author I am the author of many publications in the field of data protection and information technology. Leading legal directories describe me as "brilliant and clinical, with an acute grasp of the law particularly with regards to privacy, data protection and data security issues and a strong ability to consider the business implications.
