About the IAPP

Frances Phillips Taft, JD, CIPP/E and CIPP/US, currently serves as Lead Counsel for Global Data Privacy and AI compliance at Legends Global, where her responsibilities include developing a global privacy and AI program and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Counsel for Global Privacy Compliance at Dynatrace, Chief Privacy Officer and Cybersecurity Counsel at 3M, and Executive Counsel for Global Labor and Employment and Global Data Privacy at Baker Hughes, a GE company, and GE Oil & Gas. Additional roles include experience as In-House Counsel at McKinsey & Company. Fran is dual qualified (US/UK) and has pursued further education at MIT Sloan School of Management for AI best practices.
