About the IAPP

Gareth is an experienced Data Privacy professional and Data Protection Officer, having spent over a decade working in both consulting and in-house roles after graduating from the University of Bristol Law School.

Gareth has been responsible for the design and implementation of strategic data protection programmes, focusing on pragmatic and business-friendly output at multiple global organisations. Gareth has worked on the data protection and privacy aspects of product launch, business transformation and M&A, looking to identify and mitigate risk primarily but also highlighting potential areas of opportunity for synergy, ‘big picture thinking’, or greater efficiency.
