About the IAPP

Shay Babb is the Senior Manager, Data Privacy Operations for Publicis Groupe. In her role, Shay works with Canadian agencies and the Global Data Privacy Office to implement the data privacy program in the Canadian market.  

Shay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University, a Legal & Corporate Administration Certificate from Seneca College Applied Arts & Technology, and a Records Management Fundamentals and Practice Certificate from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management. 

Shay is passionate about social justice issues and has demonstrated this through her service with Durham Community Legal Clinic servicing low-income residents in her community.

Shay has been a member of the IAPP since 2013 and has earned the CIPP/C and CIPM certifications.
