Gicel Tomimbang, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP
Gicel Tomimbang is an attorney with the Data Privacy, Cybersecurity and Digital Assets practice group at Squire Patton Boggs. Prior to joining SPB, Gicel served as a Deputy Attorney General in the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, where her practice was focused on healthcare privacy and competition matters. Gicel was also previously a government contractor with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, investigating healthcare privacy and cybersecurity; and civil rights, matters. Gicel first joined the IAPP as a student member while working towards her law degree and privacy law certificate at Santa Clara University School of Law. Gicel is excited to continue contributing to the privacy community as a KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair.
