About the IAPP

Marie Blévin has spent the past 12 years providing focusing on legal advice and counsel on privacy issues in the life science / med-tech sector. She has broad experience in handling complex privacy legal and governance matters for global companies and has a particular interest in topics at the intersection of privacy, ethics, and policy. She currently serves as Senior Managing Counsel, Global Privacy Counsel and Regional Compliance & Ethics Officer at Align Technology. Admitted to the Paris Bar, she holds an LL.M. in International and Economic Law from Georgetown University Law Center, and a dual Master of Laws from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and the University of Paris II, France. She has worked in France, Spain, China and Switzerland, and speaks French, English, Spanish and Italian. She is CIPP/E, CIPM and FIP certified.
