About the IAPP

Jason Peterson is Privacy & Cybersecurity Counsel at Apple.

Before Apple, Jason was Assistant General Counsel, Consumer Digital at Nike. At Nike, Jason acted as product counsel providing holistic legal and business counseling across Nike Digital, with a focus on digital advertising and marketing technology.  

Before Nike, Jason worked as a Privacy Program Manager at TrustArc. Jason graduated from Santa Clara Law, with both a J.D. and Privacy Law Certificate. While in law school, Jason served as the co-president of the Privacy Law Student Organization and was the Editor-In-Chief of Santa Clara Law’s student newspaper, The Advocate. Jason holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems from San Diego State University.
