Natalie Prescott is a General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Fulgent Genetics, Inc., a publicly traded biotech company with a focus on patient care in oncology, anatomic pathology, infectious and rare diseases, and reproductive health. Natalie helps oversee Fulgent’s legal operations, privacy, ESG, compliance, and healthcare regulatory issues. Prior to joining Fulgent, she spent over 15 years at AmLaw100 firms including DLA, Mintz, and Latham & Watkins. Her expertise includes business litigation, privacy and cybersecurity, healthcare class actions, securities litigation, pharma, compliance, and regulatory matters.
She is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM); a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US; CIPP/E); and a Privacy Law Specialist (PLS). Natalie holds a B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi, an M.A. from Tulane University, and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law. She is an award-winning book author and a frequent speaker and writer on privacy and cybersecurity topics.
