Brad, a Senior Privacy Counsel at VeraSafe and former United States Marine, is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut with over a decade of experience in privacy and legal matters. Known for his insightfulness, strategic thinking, and impactful leadership, Brad excels at guiding high-profile clients to achieve global compliance with privacy regulations while considering their organizational needs and risk tolerance.
His dedication to his profession is evident through his active involvement, including a four-year term with the IAPP Privacy Section Advisory Board, currently appointed to the IAPP CIPP/US Exam Development Board, and frequent speaking engagements on various privacy topics. Brad’s work aims to raise awareness of data privacy and security issues at both individual and organizational levels.
With extensive experience collaborating with U.S. Defense and Intelligence agencies, Brad has developed a strong rapport with these organizations over the years. He has assisted clients across diverse industry verticals in meeting their data privacy compliance requirements. However, he finds particular enjoyment in working with clients in the Technology, Media, & Telecom sectors, as well as in physical security operations, M&A due diligence, and public utilities.
Brad earned his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
