Oxana Iatsyk, CIPP/C, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP
Drawing on her 20 years of private practice and in-house counsel experience, Oxana Iatsyk offers in-depth knowledge of privacy and data security laws and best practices, both domestic and international, and keen understanding of emerging technologies. Over the years, she has built and managed numerous multi-jurisdictional privacy compliance, records management and data governance programs, led clients’ teams through major breach management and regulatory investigations, provided practical advice on how to design and implement online products and services, including those involving user profiling and online behavioural advertising, structured a broad range of technology and data service agreements and oversaw consumer protection across a broad range of markets and industries, including retail, e-commerce, health services, social media and online gaming platforms.
Oxana is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and holds the CIPP/C, CIPP/US, CIPP/E and CIPM certifications. As a co-chair of the Toronto chapter of PrivacyConnect, she regularly provides training sessions to the local privacy community.
