About the IAPP

Michele is a director in KPMG Switzerland with a blend of skills drawn from technical security, privacy, team management and commercial reality. His experience ranges from presenting issues to board level executives to analyzing multi-oscillator TRNG hardware.

Leveraging his background as a technical security architect, he brings this approach to his role as a security strategist. In this role, he has experience in devising both security and privacy strategies for top companies & managing their rollout, managing complex transformation programs, privacy program rollouts, and cyber risk assessment, analysis & management.

He has been vociferous about the need for privacy and security to complement each other, and has assisted multiple clients with ensuring that their privacy posture aligns with their risk appetite. He has written multiple articles for the industry publications, and won awards for his book on Gambian cooking.

In his free time, Michele is an adrenaline addict – he teaches scuba diving, rock climbs and does endurance rallies.
