Nena is an experienced Data Protection Senior Manager with over seven years of expertise in global data privacy laws, frameworks, and risk management, including a specialized focus on AI risks and governance in the past year. She has advised, implemented, and assessed global data privacy programs (incl. Binding Corporate Rules - BCRs) for numerous multinational organizations through her roles at leading consultancy firms EY and BCG X, as well as the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Her unique combination of legal and regulatory expertise and recently acquired technical skills in data science and AI enables her to identify compliance risks, translate complex legal requirements into actionable solutions, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Nena is passionate about advancing privacy and data protection practices, leveraging her deep understanding of both regulatory and technical landscapes to drive innovation and foster trust in AI governance.
