About the IAPP

Roberto is a Senior Director and the Head of Privacy Compliance & Risk Management at ResMed, a leading medtech company specialized in connected devices that help patients with sleep and respiratory conditions. In ResMed, he leads a team of experienced privacy professionals to provide value-added advice to the business globally. Roberto is based in Brussels and holds a CIPP/E certification.

Roberto is a qualified lawyer with experience in consulting (KPMG, McKinsey & Company) as well as in house counsel for Toyota Motor Europe. At Toyota, he specialized in connected technologies and focused his work in the development of connected cars and their digital environment (apps, real-time cloud computing and AI).

He holds an LLM from the University of Leuven and an LLM from the University of Trento, and is fluent in English, French and Italian.
