Shannon Ralich, AIGP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP, PLS
Shannon Ralich serves as the Associate General Counsel for Privacy and AI at JFrog, where she leads the Privacy & AI Office and the Global Privacy Program. Before joining JFrog, she held the role of Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Privacy, Product, Employment, Litigation & IP at Zendesk. Shannon has expertly guided small and medium-sized companies, and multinational publicly traded and private enterprises, on global privacy and data security matters, developing innovative compliance solutions that drive business growth. She is adept at crafting strategic, business-focused global privacy programs, designing practical compliance solutions for complex technologies, including AI, and serving as lead legal counsel for privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity matters.
Shannon is a Board Certified Specialist in Privacy and Information Security Law, an IAPP Privacy Law Specialist (PLS), a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), an AI Governance Professional (AIGP), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US and CIPP/E), and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
In addition, Shannon actively contributes to professional organizations. She is the Secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association Privacy & Data Security Section and Chair of the International Data Privacy Committee, ABA Co-Chair of the E-Privacy Law Committee, Regional Chapter Chair for the Carolinas Women in AI Governance (WiAIG), and past recipient of the Triangle Business Journal's 40 under 40 Leadership Award. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue. Shannon is a member of the North Carolina and Washington D.C. Bars.
